The 2018 is shining, honestly an almost perfect vintage. It has that concentrated, dark blue fruit that comes from cool climate regions, like Coombsville. The wine is nicely layered with baking spices and leather, dark chocolate and bing cherries that lead to an incredibly balanced finish. Just enough fruit, acid and body. This is a great wine to share with your Cali Cab lovers AND your Bordeaux fans.
