Mastrojanni Brunello de Montalcino! Yes, it tastes as good as it sounds rolling off the tongue. Is it worth every penny? Answer: Since I bought this wine pretty much for myself, then ABSOLUTELY!

Mastrojanni’s modern style is especially showcased by the power of the lauded 2015 vintage in Tuscany… Which is when we met and fell in love. I tasted a long lineup of Brunellos a while back and I just kept coming back to this wine… It had a little spunk, a personality, a uniqueness (remind you of anyone 😉) so I knew I just have to have it. Think ripe black cherry and fresh fig, sun-dried tomato, tobacco, new leather & spice. Bold & generous, yearning for the grill. It’s not cheap, but what you get for the price still over-delivers… Salud!
