This wine is my Unicorn! I first tried it a few years ago and it’s been sold out since JC Select Wines launched. This is the first time I’ve been able to purchase it and I’m over the moon 🌙 excited! It’s the best Nebbiolo in my memory from one of the best producers in the region. Simply and utterly fantastic.

Marchesi di Grésy wines are among the most beautiful wines of Piedmont. They offer indulgent levels of ripe, rich fruit in a smooth and pleasing style. They own some of the best vineyard sites in Piedmont and are representative of how great the Nebbiolo grape really is. This wine has all the character and elegance of a great Nebbiolo with an intense perfume of fine flowers and mature fruit. Marchesi di Gresy is nestled mid-slope within the amphitheater-shaped Martinenga vineyard with spectacular views of Barbaresco. Martinenga itself spans a cross section of vineyards that starts at Asili on one end and ends at Rabajà on the other.
