Frantz Chagnoleau - 2017 Saint-Véran "La Roche" Bourgogne Blanc
They say old vines make the best wines and this is no exception, from high-altitude vineyards of Chasselas this St Veran is Chardonnay the way it should taste! Rich, round and incredibly textured with notes of yellow apples and fresh vanilla bean and sleak minerality. Drink it with food or by itself this St Veran sings the all the right notes!

The 2017 Saint-Véran La Roche is also showing well, bursting with aromas of yellow apples, fresh pastry, confit citrus and vanilla pod. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, standing out as one of the fleshier, more textural wines in the range but concluding with a mineral finish.
