Winemaker and longtime viticulturist, Rodrigo Mendez took it upon himself to revitalize the red wine production of Galicia, a now mostly white wine dominate region of Albarino. His goal was to replant the ancient varieties from the 1900’s. And what a success that was! Rodrigo has brought us red wine that is a little wild, lots of fun and maintains a low ABV (12%) so the wild and crazy fun can last longer!

Goliardo, is a wine packed with spices, a salty savory-ness from their proximity to the Atlantic and layered in with herbs, flowers and a long finish. A perfect wine to enjoy on the warm evening BBQing and watching the sunset.
