Torre de Oña Winery is part of the greater La Rioja Alta family. I truly find LRA to be one of the most reliable sources for GREAT wines from Rioja and Rias Baixas. This particular set of vineyards are in the higher elevation region of Rioja Alavesa. The wines are intentionally made to be the exact opposite style of the "traditional" wines. 100% young vine Tempranillo that sees all French oak. This is a wine that is intended to be drunk young and enjoyed on a Wednesday evening with Chinese food and your favorite TV show.
