Château d’Arche built in 1611, is located in the heart of the village of Sauternes, the most famous of the five villages where exceptional wines are produced. This is a truly stunning and beautifully made sauternes, comprised of 90% Semillon and 10% sauvignon blanc. On the nose, the wine offers up aromas of mandarin liqueur, apricot, peach, lemon curd, white flowers and sweet spicy scents of vanilla with hints of oak and a pastry note. Very rich and generous on the palate yet retaining wonderful acidity. This wine is characterized by a balanced style and beautifully lingering finish.
