Brown Estate has a long time well-established reputation in Napa and I heard nothing but LOVELY things about the family. My best friend was elated when I told her I had tried the wines and was bringing them into “My Cellar” because she was one of the original owners of Carpe Diem in Napa and had the Brown Estate Zinfandel on her wine list since Day 1.

Think: Passion fruit, persimmon, guava… Medium-bodied and plush on the palate. It’s got very well-balanced acid, smooth tannins, and a lingering finish.
