This wine was out of stock temporarily while we were waiting for the 2018 vintage to arrive. Worth the wait? Absolutely! A girlfriend of mine introduced me to this little gem a long time ago and it really is my go-to Red Burgundy. It’s got great freshness, lovely red fruit and it’s not shy. It’s got a wonderful mouthfeel with awesome depth and drinks like a much pricier Red Burgundy. It goes well with food or just great conversation. VINEYARD Fruit comes from two plots located at the bottom of the hill under vines of Chateau de Pommard called 'Maison Dieu' and 'Les Saules'. Vines grow in deep, clay-like soils averaging 45-years-old.

VINIFICATION The wines are whole-cluster pressed with a long maceration (3 to 4 weeks), punch-downs by foot, low sulfur, no new oak and left unfiltered.
